A piece commissioned by good friend and master mud thrower Thom Fink who needed a plant stand to fit under his window, with a secondary shelf on which he could display his creations. All wood joinery including hand-turned legs and cross-members, crafted from nearly century-old Cherry left over from the building of my wife’s grandfather’s home, as well as some figured Walnut strips for the internal surface of the top and Walnut accent plugs on the top and shelves. A hand-rubbed oil finish brings out the natural glow of the wood and allows for super simple touchups as needed.
