Designed for multi-use as either a coffee table or bench, this rustic piece was crafted from a combination of White Walnut (also called Butternut) and Black Walnut live edge slabs. A lightly burled slab of the White Walnut forms a waterfall top with Black Walnut “stitching” along the edge, while a Black Walnut stump piece supports the cantilevered projection of the top. A tusked stretcher holds the piece taut, while the hand-rubbed oil finish accents the grain lines and creates an effusive glow from within the figured wood.
