Mobile grill station with space for an XL Big Green Egg on the left, as well as a 4-burner propane grill on the right. Constructed out of Cypress to help endure the elements and heavy duty casters to allow ease of movement over outdoor surfaces. Solid mortise-and-tenon construction on all of the joints ensures the piece will survive the natural wood movement caused by the changing of seasons. The client loved the original design created by Marc Spagnuolo (aka The Wood Whisperer), so I used that as the foundation for the plans while also adding a couple of extra shelves and a vertical slot for storage, as well as a retaining ring cut for the propane tank to safely ride in. Delivered to the client unfinished to allow them to choose their own finish and maintenance routine.
